Who invented Band-Aids?

Earle Dickson invented Band-Aids to help with treatment of minor injuries. Band-Aids are easy to apply for yourself and quick to put on.

Earle Dickson was born on October 10,1892 and he died on September 21,1961.

He noticed his wife was always cutting her fingers in the kitchen while preparing food. At that time a bandage consisted of separate gauze and adhesive tape that you would cut to size and apply for yourself.

Earle Dickson invented Band-Aids to help with a treatment of minor injuries. If we did not have Band-Aids we wouldn't have quick, easy treatment for cuts and absasions. Band-Aids can help heal faster by stopping infection.
